The last step but the most pleasant is planning stage. Your custom journey will be planned to include a minimum of six nights in deluxe accommodations, private transportation and the expertise of local guides.
Please note that creating a custom journey is very time-demanding and, therefore, requires a planning fee so the creation of a personalized itinerary will be preceded. It is a non-refundable fee that will automatically be credited toward the final payment for your journey. After receiving your planning fee, the agents will prepare a draft itinerary and scrupulously discuss with you all the thrilling logistics about your trip, and give you a total cost evaluation.
You may wonder what the planning fee is. If the trip is planned within 60 days it may be around $500.00, if the period is longer it may be about $250.00. This non-refundable fee will automatically be credited toward the final payment for your trip.
Safaris, cruises, and certain other special trips may require a higher non-refundable planning fee.
And at last the time when you receive your personalized itinerary. After they have received your itinerary planning fee, they will prepare a draft itinerary and estimate of cost for you. And then you will discuss itinerary details and air schedules. You should note that they usually do not list costs, since their on-the-ground provides customarily do not break out in detail the specific trip elements. Once you have approved the draft itinerary, the agency will book all your arrangements, including air reservations, and they will develop a personalized final detailed itinerary of your custom journey that you can share with all the travelers in your party.
