Owning a car in New York is tough and, though many may argue, is not really necessary. So if you have no car and have to drive, you may as well make it count. Become the member of Gotham Dream Cars, as membership is free, with the $65 application fee credited toward your first rental.

Options of rental period for most of the fleet are half weekday, full weekday, weekend, long weekend, and weekly. Charges begin at about $700 for 24 hours with the BMW M5 sedan and Chevrolet Corvette Z06. Half-day rentals are not provided with these cars. And a week with the Lamborghini Gallardo Spider is close to $9,500. Among other vehicle options are an Aston Martin Vanquish, two Bentleys, three Ferraris, and a Porsche 911. It is not a problem, if you live far. Gotham will deliver and pick up the rental for a certain fee.

And if you’d like the automotive equivalent of a buffet, Gotham’s “Dream Car Tour” allows groups of participants to try out some of their cars on a structured tour. If you are a single driver, you will get 30 minutes per car for $795, while dual participants split the half hour for $499 each.
